We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP). Personal data is only collected to the extent and for as long as necessary for our business activities.

We implement the principles of 'Privacy by Design' and 'Privacy by Default'.

For orders:

• First and last name
• Delivery and billing address
• Email address
• Phone number
• Payment information (processed directly by the payment provider)
• Order history

When using the website:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Referrer URL
• Date and time of access
• Pages visited

For newsletter sign-up:

• Email address
• Time of consent (consent_at)
• Sign-up source (e.g. footer, popup, checkout, registration)
• Language preference for emails

With your explicit consent, we send you our free weekly Weekly Digest by email with information on new vintage watches, ongoing auctions, and selected shop highlights. The newsletter is free and independent of any purchase.

Legal basis is your consent under Art. 31 FADP. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

Sign-up uses double opt-in: after registering on the website (footer, popup, checkout, or optionally during account registration) you receive a confirmation email. We only send the newsletter after you click the confirmation link in that email.

Content: new products, auction notices, and occasionally exclusive discount codes for newsletter subscribers. We do not create advertising profiles for third-party marketing.

Delivery is typically once per week. No daily promotional mailings.

We store your newsletter data while you remain subscribed. After unsubscribe, data is deleted or anonymised unless legal retention obligations apply.

You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in each newsletter email or by email to info@timedeals.ch. Unsubscribing does not affect transactional emails (e.g. order and shipping confirmations).

Discount codes in the newsletter are voluntary, time-limited offers with no claim to future promotions.

If you register voluntarily, we store email, password (hashed), display name, delivery address (optional), language, favourites, notification settings, auction hold preferences, and — where applicable — store credit balance and grant/redemption history.

Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interest in operating the customer account. You may request account deletion at any time (info@timedeals.ch).

We only share personal data to the extent necessary for contract fulfillment or secure website operation:

• Payment providers Stripe (Switzerland / EU / USA depending on configuration) – for checkout and payment processing (e.g. cards and, where enabled, wallets via Stripe Checkout).
• Shipping providers (Swiss Post, DHL and, where applicable, additional logistics partners) – for delivery
• Hosting provider Infrastructure we operate or commission in Switzerland / the EEA (e.g. hosting, database, media storage) – to run the website, catalogue, and orders.
• Email service providers Postmark and/or Resend (depending on configuration) – for confirmation, newsletter, welcome, and transactional emails. Data may be processed in Switzerland, the EEA, or the USA depending on the provider.

No sale or other transfer of personal data to third parties takes place.

Our website uses technically necessary cookies required for website operation (e.g., shopping cart session, language settings). These cookies are set without consent.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and extended statistics are only set if you choose «Accept» in the cookie banner.

Right to lodge a complaint (Switzerland)

You may lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) if you believe processing of your personal data violates Swiss FADP.

If you reside in the EU or EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies where relevant.

Legal bases: contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interests (f), consent for newsletter and analytics cookies (a). You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.

You may lodge a complaint with your competent supervisory authority.

Depending on the service provider used, personal data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland or the EEA (e.g., the USA).
